    CHRIS OVEN 'S BIOGRAPHY

     

    His real name is Christophe OUENSOU

     

    Born in 1964 in Creteil near from Paris.

     

    His father is african and his mother is french.

     

    They were very surprised to see that Chris was inerested and very curios about his environement.

    Nothing could prevent him to reach everything around him : He touched evereything.(he was 4 years old)

     

    Very young he was turned in all kind of sport and more specificaly on athletism.(1974)

    This was inherent to him to include mouvement and play in everything he was involved in.

     

    He was attracted by many subject and arts expression.(1984)

    However he was following a definite line artistic though he was doing several work as (taxi driver, bookseller,

    and other job in connection directly with people and life.(he was 25 years old)

     

    In parallele he was in contact with song performing, dance, writing for theatre, cinema... until a precise moment when he realized a sculpture

    during a short movie (1999) and found all together the ingredients of energy, mouvement, space, esthetic, inspiration and fantasy, that are the

    important part of him.

     

    Since then he dedicated himself to the performing of sculpting, either on public events (fashion show) or in working in search spirit towards a

    real recognized and effective expression.

     

    Chris's sculptures are made with Linoleum, aluminium cotter, plexis glass...
